What we collect

Kazeyomi has no accounts or sign-up. The only place you can enter information is the contact form, and an email address there is optional. We do not currently use cookies for analytics or advertising.

Stored in your browser

To remember your settings, the following is saved in your browser's local storage:

• Your favorite airports
• The “only airports with METAR” filter on the airport list
• The route you last chose on the airline page

This stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most websites, Cloudflare processes access records (IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Outside services your browser loads

Some pages load fonts and images directly from other services, so your browser sends them your IP address and similar information. These include Google Fonts and the weather charts and satellite images of the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) and NOAA. Each service's own privacy policy applies.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use access analytics or advertising. If we start using them, we will update this page before doing so.

When you contact us

When you send the contact form, we receive your message, the email address you entered (if any), the page language, and your IP address and country (to deal with abuse). We use them only to reply and to handle your request, and do not share them with anyone else, except where required by law.

To block automated spam, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks information from your browser and device to tell people from bots. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version takes effect when it is posted on this page.
